Hart Energy’s E&P Magazine shared our discussion on how Cubility works to effectively reduce cuttings from drilling fluids as well as reduce waste. Cubility thoroughly and efficiently meets onshore and offshore demands while keeping up-to-date on the latest environmental guidelines.
Significant Potential Savings with Cubility
Cubility reduces drilling fluids and waste to a degree that meets and exceeds the strictest environmental guidelines of the OSPAR Commission, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, as well as other guidelines, worldwide. With drilling fluids and waste reduced, not only does it help the environment, but it works to reduce oil drilling cost.
The Economic Case for Reducing Drilling Fluids Lost
“There is also an economic case for reducing the amount of drilling fluids lost, with significant potential savings around waste disposal. On the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), for example, the treatment and disposal of drilling waste is conservatively estimated at $1,580 to $1,750 per ton, with onshore costs for waste disposal also significant,” shared E&P Magazine.
