Even Gjesdal has been Chief Executive Officer of Cubility since 2011 and has helped oversee strong and profitable growth for the company. Even is passionate and entrepreneurial, and has a wide range of experience in managing high-growth, international companies. Previous roles that Even has undertaken include Chief Financial Officer at Viking Mooring Group, a high- growth mooring rental business with a global presence; Chief Financial Officer at Roxar ASA, where he played a key role in selling the group to private equity group Arcapita; and Managing Director of Metallteknikk Industri AS. Even is a graduate of the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo.
Tore Grelland is Vice President, Business Development & Operations at Cubility, where he is spearheading growth into new regions and markets. Tore was previously Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Cubility after joining in 2012. Tore has a 24-year career in senior management positions within the IT and oil & gas industries including Sales & Marketing Director at JWS, a provider of drilling cuttings, and CEO of software and consulting company Essention AS. Tore was also responsible for taking oil & gas services company Tetra Technologies into the Middle East, Italy and Egypt as well as establishing Tetra in Norway. Tore has a Masters in Management from the Norwegian School of Management and a Masters of Science (MSc) in Petroleum from the University of Stavanger.
Brandon Buzarde is Vice President, International sales for Cubility, where he leads a worldwide sales team comprising many of the industry’s top solids and drilling fluids experts. Brandon joined Cubility in 2015 having spent five years at NOV. In his last role as Global Account Vice President, Brandon was a member of the executive sales team for the company’s completion and production solutions segment overseeing US$300 million in revenue. Brandon is a graduate of the Purdue Sales Leadership programme and plays a key role as a sub-committee member for the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
Knut Haga is Vice President, Projects & HSEQ at Cubility, where he is responsible for project execution across Cubility’s multiple operations as well as ensuring the highest HSEQ standards. Knut has a 25-year career in the oil & gas industry and spent 15 years at Hitec AS culminating in the role of VP of Projects at National Oilwell Norway. Knut was also Managing Director at Axon Norway AS during a major restructuring project and served as Operations Manager for Cubility between 2008 and 2012, where he was instrumental in securing support for the MudCube from Norwegian operator, Statoil.
Kai Preben Sæveland
Kai Preben Sæveland is Chief Financial Officer at Cubility, where he manages the company’s financial performance and provides strategic financial direction. Kai joined Cubility in 2014 on the back of a successful 15-year career in accounting and financial management with the last three years spent as Chief Financial Officer at KAEFER Norway – a company with a NOK 1,3 billion turnover. Other previous positions include CFO at i-TEC AS, Group Controller at Roxar (now Emerson), and Senior Associate at Ernst & Young. Arne Thomas Haaland
Arne Thomas Haaland is Vice President, Technology at Cubility, where he is responsible for providing technical support to all operations and projects as well as managing Cubility’s extensive supply chain. Arne has over 30 years experience in managing company growth and promoting innovation in the oil & gas sector, with previous roles at Saga Petroleum and Norsk Hydro (both now part of Statoil). Prior to joining Cubility in 2013, Arne was CEO of TracID AS, a provider of RFID tracking solutions, which is now part of NOV. Arne has a Master of Science in cybernetics engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
